The past year has been quite a whirlwind: weddings (including both our siblings), international travel, promotions at work and just generally living it up in New York City.
In January R and I decided to begin looking for our own little piece of the Big Apple. We looked at a whole bunch of places, and decided on a nice two-bedroom on St. Nicholas Park. We put in an offer, which was accepted, and have been living under Operation Ramen Noodle ever since. In the next week we will (knock on wood) close on our first home. Team Brooks is expanding (although at this point only my waistline is!). Yes, R and I are expecting a little bundle of joy in early December!! We are both thrilled, and excited, and maybe a little nervous. Here is a sneak peak:
